For a mini exhibition organised by the Malta Society of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce (last year I put in my first canvas work, horace: [link])

This was an experiment with coloured greys. I still cant get the concept very well, but after studying impressionism(history) I think I managed to learn something new. Still needs a LOT of fine tuning.

Originally I was going to base the idea on one character ([link]) but the initial to scale sketch on paper left a lot of freespace, that I then transferred to cardboard was lacking so I added another canine creature.



The final result turned out waaaaaaaaaay different than I had in mind, but I dont mind it.




Enjoy finding all the hidden shapes in the smoke I can tell you that the prominant smilie face was not intended though :s

I will be selling it for 80 euro Needs framing but I cannot afford it.
